ONE SHOT PRINTS
One Shot Prints is a 3D printing service created by three friends with a love of the craft. Our small team is passionate about 3D printing and work hard to create quality products that meet our customers’ needs. We strive to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Being that we are a 3D printing service, we do not create or sculpt models ourselves. However, we will help direct you to find a the perfect model for what you are wanting to have printed, or if you are a model sculptor with no way to print, we can help you with that as well!
Resin Printing
Resin printing is an advanced 3D printing technology that produces objects with high detail and accuracy. This process uses liquid resin that is cured layer-by-layer with ultraviolet light to create the final product. The cost of materials is usually higher than that of other 3D printing technologies, but the resulting detail and accuracy can be worth the additional cost. The labor time is also higher than other 3D printing services. Though the final product we give is not hazardous, resin is hazardous in its liquid form, and requires great care in handling until it is cured via UV Light. It also needs to be washed in a higher grade of isopropyl alcohol to clean it before the finale curing process. This care in handling is what increases the labor time needed to work with resin.
FDM (Filament) Printing
FDM Filament Printing is a cost effective and reliable 3D printing technology that produces quality models, and is a great option for larger parts that dont need as many fine details. For tabletop players, this is also a great option for terrain. It uses a spool of filament that is heated up and extruded through a nozzle to build the model layer by layer. The cost of FDM Filament Printing is lower compared to other 3D printing techniques, making it a great option for those on a budget. It does take more time to print on an FDM Printer, and details on smaller, more intricate models are not as crisp.
